Trevor Walker is a Southern California based artist who specializes in drawing and painting subjects in nature. He has been working as a professional artist for over twenty years. He currently resides in Orange county with his wife and two children.

From an early age Trevor has been fascinated with the outdoors, and animals in particular. The many creatures which have shared his home have often been the subject of his drawings and paintings. Trevor has studied many animals from life beginning with a green iguana his parents brought home when he was five years old. Trevor was eager to get his driver’s license, and at sixteen began to take regular trips to the Los Angeles zoo to fill his sketchbook with drawings of the animals. Since then many animals have passed through the Walker home and been the subject of Trevor’s artwork, from bearded dragons, crows, stick insects, and opossums.

Today Trevor continues to paint natural subjects, often working en plein aire, and refining his artwork in the studio. His current fascination lies with the intersection of natural habitats with the urban sprawl they frequently border. Concrete riverbeds overgrown with foliage, and old vehicles reclaimed by the weeds appeal to the inner naturalist.

Trevor received his Bachelor’s degree from California State University Fullerton, and his Master’s at Laguna College of Art and Design.
